Hi, all. Recently, you should find that many old players have returned to play this game before Neverinter Module 3 Curse of Icewind Dale. If you are a control wizard class, I will tell you something.


Neverwinter control wizard is the easiest to get picked for epic dungeons because pretty much standard on a CW is singularity. They are heavy control and have burst DPS with a high INT, fast recovery cirt-based Spellstorm Mage with either Thaumaturge or Renegade path focuses. If you are human class, you should add other 3 feats to on the top of Learned Spellcaster which gives you 5% bonus damage on everything. In my eyes, Human class can do most damage than other classes. For stat, INT > CHA, each point to INT give you more damage.

Tab: Chill Strike
At-Will: Magic Missile, Chilling Cloud
Encounter: Conduit of Ice, Shard of the Endless Avalanche, Steal Time
Daily: Oppressive Force, Arcane Singularity / Ice Knife (for boss)
Class: Eye of the Storm, Evocation


Key skills and feats
Snap Freeze can deal 15% additional damage to targets. It is good for Conduit of Ice and Chill Strike.
Assailing Force can have 15% extra damage after using Conduit of Ice.
Conduit of Ice can benefit from Snap Freeze, 15% damage on it and add other debuffs and chill that can make you hits higher.
Chill Strike in Tab also benefit from Snap Freeze, add 15% damage from Evocation and 15% damage from Conduit of Ice debuff and if you are using the High Vizier set provide the 10% damage. Total increase almost 55% bonus damage.
Shard of the Endless Avalanche can get 15% damage debuff from Conduit of Ice, 15% from Evocation, 5% from Bitter Cold, 15% from Transcended Master, 10% from Elemental Empowerment and your High Vizier. Amazing, this is the hardest hitting encounter in you build.
Steal Time can get 15% debuff from Conduit of Ice, 15% from evocation, 5% from Bitter Cold, 10% from elemental empowerment and with your High Vizier set.
Your playstyle can do this, Conduit of Ice → Chill Strike in Tab → Shard of the Endless Avalanche → Steal Time


For set, recommend High Vizier Set and Pyrotechnic Band rings. For enchantment, Soulforged and Vorpal enchantment, Plague Fire also is a good choice for party. For control wizard artifacts, Lantern of Revelation, Shard of Valindra’s Crown and Bloodcrystal Raven Skull or Waters of Elah’zad. For companions, Ioun Stone of Allure, Fire Archon, Galeb Duhr.
